So I preordered my Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 which arrived on 19 August 2020 and have put it through its paces for 4 days. You can look at my earlier blog for the unboxing experience. Initial impressions are generally very good. I have mine in mystic black because they do not do the larger 45mm in mystic bronze in my county. You can also get mystic silver. The RAM is increased to 1GB and memory is up from 4 to 8GB. I have made a review video that you can see here but the summary is; Battery life  - The battery capacity of my 45mm version is 340mAh, same as on the 44mm Galaxy Watch active 2 , but less than the 472 on the original Galaxy Watch. You will get 2 days of average use with bluetooth, location, WiFi (on auto) all on but with always-on display turned off. I drained the Watch 3 to zero and charging took 2 hours and 25 minutes while turned off. The Watch active 2 takes about 2 hours. This may improve as it was the first charging cycle.  It is always exciting when you get a package delivered and you know it is your new phone. Well in my case it was my new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra , a new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and a set of Samsung Buds live . You should check out this video , which shows all 3. But you are all here for the unboxing of the Galaxy Watch 3. Samsung did not release the watch 2 following the original galaxy watch so there was great anticipation for this one. I went with mystic black instead of mystic bronze for the simple reason that Samsung chose to only do a smaller version of the mystic bronze at 41mm. I wanted the biggest screen size which was only available in Mystic Black. So I now have a phone and buds live in mystic bronze, while my watch is mystic black. I hope this helps you decide when you think of screen size.   What's the deal with the naming? This week saw the release of the widely anticipated  Samsung Galaxy Watch 3,  actually called the Watch3. This is because a Galaxy Watch 2 was expected last year, following the release of the original Galaxy Watch the year before but was not. In fact, Samsung skipped the Galaxy Watch 2 name completely and went straight to 3. There was a Galaxy Watch Active 2 released last year but this is a different line.  The Galaxy Watch 3                 There are 3 colours: Mystic Bronze  (by now you have heard the hype around this). Ok, I'll admit the colour is tempting. As I have already ordered the Note 20 Ultra in Mystic Bronze, I was about to order my Watch 3 in the same colour, until I noticed it only goes up to 41mm instead of the 45mm size. The 41mm Bluetooth version is £399 and the 41mm 4G version is at £439. Battery size is 247mah. Mystic Black  (My personal favourite) - This is the one I have ordered at 45mm 4G.
