Galaxy s2 battery drain after ics update (Poor battery life)

So if you have now got your ics update you will be over the moon. I have had mine for a few days and i have to say, it's the best mobile phone operating system i've ever used (yes i've used ios longer than i've been on android). I'm not going to go into this though.

I've noticed one problem which is battery drain. Now i don't know the technical stuff apart from things like turning off bluetooth, wifi, etc saves battery. I'm gonna tell you that you don't need to change any of the settings you had before the upgrade. What you need to do is let your battery go flat and then charge it fully from the mains not bluetooth. Do this a few times (usually takes a week of using ics to sort the problem out) and the system seems to optimise battery use and should be back to how it was before the upgrade.

  2. When i updated i got just 3hrs of battery. I then followed the above from forums on google and was getting a day's worth of battery.
